Poem: On Faith

Poem: On Faith

On Faith

Way, way, way down,
twenty years down,
forty years down,
generations
way, way, way down.

It is a pit
or an anchor?
Is it a home
or a prison?

It runs so deep,
does it matter?
Today it feels
like a prison,
but maybe not
so tomorrow.
