Poem: A Too-Late Realization

Poem: A Too-Late Realization

A Too-Late Realization

I don’t even want the money
anymore.
If I could just get out I’d run
far away.
I’d hope for a place where no one
could find me.
I’m sorry that I ever tried.
Can we please
just forget about everything
up to now?
