Avid Indoorsman

Every time I watch a sunset
I think, “Don’t people know ‘bout Netflix?”
I’ve seen golden eagles soaring
and it’s pretty … pretty boring.
Wild animals don’t do tricks,
so have fun out there in the sticks.
Nature’s majesty can kill you—
starved, torn apart, or frozen blue
with the passing of the seasons.
Houses were built for good reasons.
