Poem: The Plan

 

The Plan

God’s plan,
in his eternal wisdom,
is whatever
happened today and yesterday.

It is
floods, sunsets, and hurricanes,
and also
Keeping up with the Kardashians.

It is
the reason I was fired at work
and also
why I eat too many hamburgers.

Thank God
for his infinite wisdom.
