A Lack of Financial Understanding

What am I getting
for my tithe?
I am not trying
to be blithe.
There’re things I just don’t
understand
about all of my
Lord’s commands.
Is it for buildings
to sing in?
For the redemption
of my sins?
Do we need lesson
manuals?
To endear me to
Emmanuel?

Forgive me, Lord, for
as I strive
I wonder what I
get for tithes?
