Hey God,

It’s me, Daniel. Not “Dan the Man” or “the Danster,” but just regular Daniel. Last four digits of my Social Security Number are 1632.

A few months into this correspondence and I can’t fairly conclude that you’re indifferent to human suffering, but you do certainly seem mum on the subject (at least where the suffering applies to me).

Maybe this is unfair?

After all, you never agreed to the terms or asked me to write. And I guess no one, including me, ever expected you to write back.

Maybe we’ll talk some other time in some other way.
