Hashtag So Blessed

She yells at the microphone
with religious conviction
that the greatest sin would be
for others to ignore her.
Her clothes scream, her make up screams,
her vocabulary screams.
She will shill for Jesus Christ
so she can share the spotlight
with God’s Only Begotten.
When the heavens open up
and angelic trumpets sound—
when Jesus Christ comes again—
she will be live broadcasting on
Instagram with a ring light,
camera pointed at her.
