Giving Up as a Form of Worship

The problem with religion is
that most people don’t look better
donning the hues of certainty,
particularly where we should
have no business being certain—
for the Lord’s ways are not your ways,
neither are your thoughts the Lord’s thoughts.
There can be no worship without
complete surrender of ego.
Faith is a willingness to be
uncertain about things that
you’d really like to be sure of.
